Healthcare IT Services for Orlando Medical Practices
Your EHR, your patient data, and your front desk all run on the same network. We keep that network fast, backed up, and HIPAA-defensible — so your staff can stop troubleshooting and get back to patients.
What Orlando Practices Ask Us First
The questions below are the ones that come up on almost every first call with a practice manager. Here are the real answers.
What does healthcare IT support actually cover?
Day-to-day it covers your workstations, network, servers, Microsoft 365, backups and security monitoring — plus the help desk your staff calls when something stops working. For a medical practice it also means owning the parts most IT companies avoid: EHR performance, imaging workstations, practice management software, and the compliance paperwork behind all of it.
Are your IT services HIPAA compliant?
Yes, and we sign a business associate agreement before we touch anything that holds protected health information. Compliance is not a product you buy once — it comes from encryption, access control, audit logging, offsite backups and documented procedures, configured correctly and then actually maintained. We handle the technical safeguards and give you the documentation your auditor asks for.
How much does healthcare IT support cost in Orlando?
Our managed plans are flat-rate per user per month: $125 Essential, $150 Growth, $199 for the AI-enabled tier, and $299 Full. A practice with 12 users on the Growth plan runs $1,800 a month, all-in. No per-ticket charges and no surprise invoices — if we bill off-agreement, you get a credit.
A fuller breakdown, including what changes the number for a medical practice specifically, is in our guide to medical IT support costs in Central Florida.
Do you support our EHR system?
We support the infrastructure every EHR depends on — the network, the workstations, the connection to your vendor’s cloud, and the local integrations for imaging, labs and e-prescribing. We are not your EHR vendor’s support desk, but we are the people who determine whether the problem is the EHR or your IT, and who then talk to the vendor on your behalf.
If you are still choosing a platform, we compared the three most common ones for small practices: athenahealth vs eClinicalWorks vs Practice Fusion.
Why is our EHR so slow, and can it be fixed?
Almost always, yes. Slow charting is usually not the EHR itself — it is an undersized internet connection, aging workstations, a saturated Wi-Fi network, or browser sessions nobody has closed in weeks. These are measurable and fixable, and the fix is rarely a new EHR. We start by finding out which one it is.
We wrote up the seven usual causes here: why your EHR is slow and how to fix it.
Can our staff use personal phones for patient messaging?
Only under a written BYOD policy with mobile device management in place. HIPAA does not ban personal devices, but it does hold you responsible for the protected health information on them — which means encryption, screen locks, and the ability to remotely wipe a lost phone. Standard SMS between staff about patients is the most common violation we find.
The full policy checklist is here: BYOD, personal devices and HIPAA.
What happens if someone clicks a phishing email?
Medical offices are among the most targeted businesses there are, because patient records are worth more than card numbers. What matters is the first fifteen minutes: disconnect the device, reset the credentials, check what the account could reach, and preserve the evidence before anything is deleted. We build that plan with you before you need it.

Do you come on site in Orlando?
Yes. We are based in Haines City and cover Orlando and the surrounding Central Florida practices, so on-site work is a drive, not a flight. Most issues are resolved remotely without anyone visiting, but cabling, hardware, new-provider setups and anything involving a physical device get someone in the building.
How do we switch without disrupting patient schedules?
The work that risks disruption — migrations, cutovers, server moves — gets scheduled around your clinic hours, not ours. Onboarding runs to a documented 30-day plan, and if we do not finish in 30 days the onboarding fee is waived. Your existing provider does not need to know until you are ready to tell them.
Where We Work
Orlando is part of the Central Florida area we cover from Haines City — alongside Kissimmee, Celebration, Winter Haven, Lakeland, Davenport and the surrounding Polk and Osceola County practices.
Standard support hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern, with 24/7 emergency support for practices on a managed plan.
