Security Cameras for Property Managers
One camera system. Multiple properties. Complete visibility from your phone. iTech Plus designs, installs, and maintains security camera systems across apartment complexes, HOAs, and commercial properties throughout Central Florida.
The Property Manager’s Security Challenge
Managing security across a portfolio of properties is fundamentally different from securing a single building. The problems compound with every property you add.
Scale Creates Blind Spots
Managing security across 5, 10, or 50+ properties means you physically cannot be everywhere. Without cameras, you rely on tenant complaints that arrive hours or days after incidents occur.
Tenant Complaints Escalate
Package theft, car break-ins, and vandalism are the top three complaints from tenants. Without evidence, you cannot resolve disputes, file police reports, or prove you took reasonable precautions.
Liability Exposure
Slip-and-fall claims, assault allegations, and property damage without video evidence put property managers at a disadvantage. Camera footage is your strongest defense in liability disputes.
Insurance Requirements
Insurance carriers are increasingly mandating camera systems for multi-tenant properties. Meeting these requirements not only satisfies your policy but can reduce premiums by 10-25%.
Board and HOA Pressure
Board members and HOA committees demand better security and visible deterrents. Professional camera systems demonstrate proactive management and satisfy stakeholder expectations.

Every property type has unique security requirements. We design camera systems specifically for how each property operates.

Multi-Property Management Platform
The biggest advantage of working with iTech Plus is our multi-property camera platform. Instead of juggling separate apps, logins, and NVRs for every property, you get a single dashboard that gives you complete visibility across your entire portfolio.
Your maintenance staff gets limited-permission access to the cameras they need. Your regional managers see their properties. You see everything.
Site Survey
We visit each property to map camera locations, assess network infrastructure, and identify security blind spots specific to each site.
System Design
Custom camera placement plan for each property with unified platform architecture. One design document covers your entire portfolio.
Installation
Professional installation with minimal disruption to tenants. We coordinate with property staff for access and communicate timelines clearly.
Platform Setup
All properties connected to your unified dashboard. User permissions configured, mobile apps set up, and your team trained on the system.
Camera ROI for Property Managers
Security cameras are not a cost center. For property managers, they directly reduce liability, improve tenant retention, and lower insurance premiums. Data from National Apartment Association and NARPM.
Liability Claims Prevented
Average cost of a single liability claim prevented by camera footage. Slip-and-fall, assault, and property damage claims are resolved faster with video evidence.
Tenant Retention Improvement
Properties with visible, professional security camera systems see measurable improvement in tenant renewal rates. Tenants feel safer and stay longer.
Package Theft Complaints Drop
Combining security cameras with package locker systems virtually eliminates package theft complaints, one of the top sources of tenant frustration.
Insurance Premium Discount
Many property insurance carriers offer premium reductions for properties with professional surveillance systems. The cameras can pay for themselves through insurance savings alone.
Vandalism Reduction
Visible camera systems with proper signage dramatically reduce vandalism across common areas, parking structures, and amenity spaces.
Typical Payback Period
Between insurance savings, reduced liability exposure, and improved tenant retention, most property managers see full ROI within 12 months of installation.

Property Camera System FAQ
Yes. Our multi-property platform consolidates every camera from every property into a single app on your phone, tablet, or desktop. You can switch between properties instantly, view live feeds, review recorded footage, and receive motion alerts organized by property. You control which staff members have access to which properties and cameras.
Yes. We regularly present camera system proposals to HOA boards and property management committees. We prepare professional proposals with camera placement maps, system specifications, cost breakdowns, and ROI projections. We attend the board meeting, present the plan, and answer technical questions. We understand that board approval is part of the process, and we make it as smooth as possible.
All cameras are placed in common areas only – lobbies, parking lots, pool areas, hallways, and building exteriors. We never install cameras where tenants have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Florida law permits video surveillance in common areas of multi-tenant properties. We include proper signage notifying tenants and visitors that surveillance is in operation, which also serves as a deterrent.
That is entirely up to you. Our permission system supports granular access control. Some property managers give tenants view-only access to the camera covering their parking spot or building entrance. Others restrict all access to management only. You can adjust permissions per user, per camera, per property at any time.
Yes. Each property gets its own NVR for local recording and fast playback. All NVRs connect to the centralized cloud platform so you can access any property remotely. If internet goes down at one property, that NVR continues recording locally. Once connectivity is restored, the system syncs automatically. This architecture gives you both reliability and centralized management.
We work with existing systems whenever possible. If your property has analog cameras, we can integrate them through encoders or replace them incrementally. If you have IP cameras from another vendor, we can often bring them into our platform. During our site survey, we assess what you already have and give you honest recommendations about what can be reused versus what should be replaced for reliability and image quality.
