Pricing Factors

What Affects VoIP Pricing

Understanding these six factors helps you choose the right plan and budget accurately.

Number of Seats

More seats typically means lower per-user pricing. Volume discounts start at 10 seats and increase at 25 and 50.

Features Needed

Basic calling is affordable. Call recording, CRM integration, and analytics move you into the Professional tier.

Hardware Choice

Desk phones ($80-$350) add upfront cost. Softphone-only setups ($0) use your existing computers and smartphones.

Compliance Requirements

HIPAA-compliant VoIP for healthcare adds cost for encrypted calling, BAA agreements, and audit logging.

Call Volume

All plans include unlimited US and Canada calling. International calling and toll-free numbers are available as add-ons.

Support Level

Standard support is included. Dedicated account managers and custom SLAs are available on Enterprise plans.

Common Questions

VoIP Pricing FAQ

No. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no activation fees, no setup fees, and no equipment rental charges. Taxes and regulatory fees (typically $2-4 per line) are the only additions, and we disclose those upfront before you sign anything. We believe in transparent pricing because that is how we would want to be treated.

Each VoIP call requires approximately 100 Kbps of bandwidth. For a 10-person office, you need at minimum 1 Mbps of dedicated upload bandwidth for calls. Most modern business internet connections (25 Mbps+) handle VoIP easily. We test your connection before installation and can recommend QoS settings on your router to prioritize voice traffic and prevent call quality issues during heavy internet use.

Yes. Number porting is included free with every plan. We handle the entire porting process with your current provider. Porting typically takes 7-14 business days. During the transition, your old phones continue working normally — there is zero downtime. Once the port completes, your existing number rings on your new VoIP system seamlessly.

No. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment required. You can cancel anytime with 30 days notice. We earn your business every month by delivering reliable service and responsive support — not by locking you into a contract. Annual prepay discounts are available if you prefer to save more.

Installation and setup are included free for all plans. We configure your auto-attendant, set up voicemail greetings, provision desk phones, install mobile and desktop apps, and train your team — all included in the project. The only additional cost is if you purchase desk phone hardware (optional, $80-$350 per phone). Softphone-only setups have zero upfront cost.

Fax-to-email is included in the Professional and Enterprise plans. You get a dedicated fax number and incoming faxes are delivered as PDF attachments to your email. You can send faxes from your computer or phone. For Essentials plan users, fax-to-email can be added as an add-on for $5/month per line. No physical fax machine needed.

E911 (Enhanced 911) is included with every VoIP line. When you dial 911, your registered business address is automatically sent to emergency dispatchers, just like a landline. For remote workers, we register their home address separately. If you move locations, we update the E911 address immediately. This is a legal requirement and we handle it completely as part of your setup.

All plans include unlimited calling to the US and Canada. International calling is available as a pay-per-minute add-on with competitive rates (for example, calls to the UK start at $0.02/minute, Mexico at $0.03/minute). For businesses that make frequent international calls, we offer discounted international calling bundles. Contact us for a custom rate sheet for the countries you call most often.
